As announced this summer when HELALYN FLOWERS launched an exciting remix contest, “Halos” would be the last single taken from their electrifying “Àiresis” album.

“Halos” was not only the opening track of the album, but also maybe the most poppy song of all. And that’s exactly what makes this 13-track EP so interesting, discovering how the featured remixers reinterpreted this addictive song, focusing on its melodic catchiness, on its carrying electro dynamics, or yet on its introspective cinematic atmosphere. A beautiful sensual noir pop tune revealing matchless lush female vocals and the band’s unique songwriting ability in fusing fresh electronics with soulful darkwave ambience.

Besides the 6 happy winners of the remix contest that are RESTRICTION 9, VDOC, BLUE ANT, DIGITAL SHADOWS, AGGRAUX KOUTURE and LUCA TRUZZO, the Italian artists Noemi Aurora and Maxx Maryan are also surrounded in this remix extravaganza by long-time friends and other label-mates in the likes of AIBOFORCEN, ELEKTROSTAUB, PEOPLE THEATRE, AESTHETISCHE, JUNKSISTA and SIMON CARTER.
